3 rd Annual WALDORF BOWLS!

On April 2 2016 my bowling team The Incredibowls are bowling to raise money for The South Shore Waldorf School. In year one we won the tournament and with your help we can do it again! Not only do we want to win the cup, we'd love to win the prize for team who raised the most money to support this special independent school.

Your generous support is most appreciated - THANK YOU for supporting alternative education in Nova Scotia

More about the South Shore Waldorf School:
In 1996 the South Shore Waldorf School & Kindergarten first opened its doors on an organic family farm in School2Conquerall Mills, NS. Five years later, the school and kindergarten moved to a century old school house in Blockhouse, NS, carefully and lovingly renovated by the families and friends of the School.
The School was founded by a handful of families looking for ‘something more’ for their children. It now offers a parent-tot program, a kindergarten program (ages 3-6), and grades 1 through 7.
The Waldorf curriculum promotes well-rounded development in children by exposing them to a wide variety of subjects using an interdisciplinary approach that complements the students natural abilities. Waldorf education allows for a meaningful learning process by engaging the whole child. The children develop their thinking and feeling, and a sense of purpose.

Our Mission

The South Shore Waldorf School Association is a resource for Waldorf education in Atlantic Canada dedicated to providing Pre School & Elementary programs which offer families a viable educational alternative.
